Happy Easter!

Julia and I went to Mariposa for a few days leading up to Easter.  We had so much fun on Easter dying eggs, and Julia hunted eggs both at church, and then at Amma and Papa's house after church.  At my school a few days ago, Julia found a forgotten (plastic, thankfully) Easter egg that had been hidden for our class in my classroom.  She was so excited!!  I can only imagine that she must think Easter eggs are hidden at all times to be discovered randomly....

Mommy's Little Model

Well, you probably received my email telling you about my new adventure: making hair clippies for little girls!  So far no orders yet, but I've had a lot of views of my clips since posting them yesterday, so I'm hopeful that people will like what they see.  Julia was a great little model for some of the pictures for my "store."  Here are some of the highlights!

19 Months Photo Shoot

Hard to believe that Julia is now 19 months old!  We went to the mall today and had her picture taken in her Easter dress, and a fun hot pink number from Gymboree.  It seemed like all the pictures were sooo cute - I had the hardest time picking.  These were the three I ended up with, even though there were about 25 to choose from.  I took a snapshot of the pictures (since they don't exactly give you the files to email...) and put them on the computer.  The originals are much better and brighter, but these turned out pretty good.  Right after the photo shoot, Julia fell in the store and got a huge goose-egg on her forehead.  :(  At least it didn't happen before the pictures!!
